The Parthenon, Athens

Call us basic, but a list like this wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t mention Greece’s jewel in the crown. The Parthenon stands above the city of Athens with legislation preventing anyone from building high enough to block it, meaning you can spot it from anywhere across the city.

The stunning white marble and intricate designs carved into the rock are certainly worth it to visit and photograph. Even the view of Athens from above is unforgettable… truly a place worth checking out!
