An hour’s drive away from Athens, this location cannot be beaten for jaw-dropping photographs. As you pull up to an impressive rock formation topped with an imposingly beautiful white-marble temple, the best is yet to come.

Climb up the steps to discover almost 180-degree views of the stunning blue sea. Wait until the evening and you’ll find yourself bathed in pink and orange light as the sun sets over the temple – a truly perfect moment for a photograph.

Sarakiniko, Milos

A dreamy moonscape like nothing you’ve ever seen before, every visitor to Milos visits Sarakiniko beach and it’s easy to see why. Shockingly white large rocks meet the beautiful sea making a truly unique and fascinating effect.

Lake Kerkini

A wildlife fan’s paradise, this lake in northern Greece is the best place to go if you’re fascinated by animals. Nestled in between tall mountains, the lake goes on as far as the eye can see.

Watch and you’ll notice hundreds of species of birds: this lake is perfectly placed on the bird migration route and many even call it home! Spot flamingos, pelicans, and even buffalos nearby.

Call us basic, but a list like this wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t mention Greece’s jewel in the crown. The Parthenon stands above the city of Athens with legislation preventing anyone from building high enough to block it, meaning you can spot it from anywhere across the city.
